Black PVC Gothic Buckle Mini Skirt!

Here's the new skirt I was talking about in my previous post. It's a super sexy gothic mini skirt made from shiny black PVC with a large fitted waistband that wraps around and can be adjusted to fit a range of sizes, with adjustable buckle fastening, decorative metal eyelets and gathered/pleated skirt. The front features 4 metal D-rings and there are 2 at the back. When I say "mini skirt" I mean mini! It's really short, just 9" in length!

It is available custom made to fit any size up to a maximum hip size of 50".

Emo/Punk Leopard Print Leggings!

Yesterday amongst orders I managed to find time to make a couple of new things, including a new style of skirt that I haven't had the courage to try before and another pair of patchwork leggings.

They are emo, punk style patchwork leggings made from alternate panels of black cotton and leopard print lycra. One side starts with leopard at the top and finishes with black cotton at the ankles, and the opposite side is the other way round-with black at the top. The waist is high enough to allow room for wearing them either way round, depending on your mood. I love making leggings in this way because you can achieve 2 different looks out of one pair!

They are full length, non-see through and high quality leopard print leggings. They are a one off item available in one size only, however the fabric is pretty stretchy, as is the waistband so they will fit a large range of sizes.

The waistband has a decorative lace up panel with silver eyelets and black ribbon and the skirt has 4 decorative "D rings" hanging at the front of the skirt and 2 at the back.

After having a browse of how my website is looking now, I decided that the section on belts was looking a bit drab and boring so I decided to start adding some more colour by making a couple of new corset belts.

The first is a lace up corset belt made from pink and black zebra print cotton with black ribbon adjustable lace up fastening at the front. The belt is three layers of fabric thick to help hold in the waist without the need for boning, meaning that this corset belt is comfortable for day to day use.

Black and White Stripe Zipper Corset Top....


The last is a fully boned underbust corset made from white and black stripey cotton. The corset has a straight back and a front that laces up with black ribbon. Each panel is 4 layers of fabric thick to give it the strength to hold the waist in by several inches. The top and bottom edges are piped with black cotton and layered with black lace trim. The lace up front means this corset is largely adjustable, and the sturdy thick fabric means that the waist can be pulled in by several inches. The boning is polyester.

Today I decided to brush up on my photoshop skills and give my website a much needed re-vamping. I was only planning on spending the morning on it but I got carried away and ended up working on it all day. Where did the time go?! Anyway I'm really pleased with how it's looking now! My Neighbour Totoro Costume!

This week I've been working on a special request for a Totoro costume from "My Neighbour Totoro" for a friend. I wish could spend more time making costumes as I really enjoy it! Anyway I'm really pleased with how it turned out and it's definitely my fave costume that I've done so far so thought I'd show off the outcome!

So here is the finished thing.....Come to think of it, he looks really quite scary...that wasn't my aim!



And for anyone who doesn't know Totoro, here's what he looks like in the film....(you have to bear in mind my friend is ridiculously tall, so he ended up looking a little stretched!

And lastly one of my favourites-a long and elegant, floor length, gothic fishtail skirt made from alternate panels of silver snow leopard print and silky black steamed velour. The skirt is shown with the leopard print at the sides, however it can be twisted a quarter turn to wear the leopard at the front, so you can get two great looks out of one skirt! The skirt tapers in at the knee and splays out at the bottom to emphasize the bodies natural curves, it also has an elasticated waistband for comfortable fit.

Made another couple of pairs of patchwork leggings out of my fabric scraps. I swear this is becoming an obsession, it's so fun making one off new items and it's especially satisfying knowing that I made something pretty from a bunch of scraps that would otherwise have gone in a bin. Recycling rules!

Anyway the first pair are made from alternating panels of black metallic lycra, gold metallic lycra and black gothic transparent mesh.

They are available in size 10/12, fitting a waistband of 31" up to 34" and a hip measurement of 35" up to 39". These took me ages so I'm charging a little more even though they are in the sale...
