New One of a Kind Bleached Leggings & Top!

Here is some more of the one of a kind clothing that I've been working on lately. First is a pair of super unique leggings that I made with bleach and paint splattered textured grey denim, with cut away panels on the thigh and lower leg, with black faux leather studded detail and black ribbon lacing up the panels. The backs are made from stretchy black cotton so that they are easy to get in and out of as the denim is semi stretch but not as flexible as some of my regular fabrics. I really love how they turned out but they took me ages so I will need to rethink my technique before I make them a regular item. I recently realized just how much black I tend to use in all my clothing, so I thought it would be fun to make something without any black in it and I ended up with this studded lace up top. It's made with blueberry blue bleached denim and lots of white faux leather, with lace up front and side fastenings, meaning that this top can be adjusted to fit various sizes. The back also features more white faux leather with a lace up panel and cute silver star shaped studs and large silver pyramid studs decorating the front. The sleeves and bottom hem are bound with more white faux leather and lots and lots of white ribbon for all the lace up parts. It will fit a uk size 10 with all the lace ups fully closed and up to a size 14 with lace ups opened up.

And lastly I made a matching pair of leggings in white wet look lycra with panels of bleach and paint splattered blueberry denim with white faux leather lace up panels, lacing up with black ribbon to match the black waistband and white faux leather studded strips. The backs are plain white wet look and lined with white cotton to ensure that they are fully opaque. The extra thickness makes them feel really sturdy and much more like proper trousers than some of my other leggings. New One of a Kind Items for sale now.

This week I've been getting creative (and messy) with bleach and paint! I thought it'd be cool to try making some corset tops and studded leggings using bits of denim fabric that I've decorated and played around with first so that they look more unique and interesting than the usual fabrics I use. If I can figure out a way of making a lot of fabric quickly I will consider making some repeat alternative clothing items in the style, but for now these are just one of a kind pieces.

This is my favourite-it's a studded glam rock vest top in semi stretch textured denim with bleach and paint splatter effect. The front is decorated with black faux leather and silver pyramid studs with an adjustable lace up front fastening. Lace up panels are featured on the sides and back of the vest top, made from more black faux leather, silver eyelets and ribbon. Next is a matching pair of unique studded leggings, for which I decided to go for a more asymmetrical look than my usual leggings just to make them extra unique and individual. They are made with black faux leather look lycra with diagonal panels of bleach and paint splattered denim across the front and black strips of studded faux leather with pyramid studs, rounded studs and star studs. And lastly another corset top made with some slightly bluer denim which left a more silvery blue effect after being bleached. It has a zipper fastening at the front which opens right out, with antique look pyramid studs running down the middle. The back is made from black faux leather with an adjustable lace up fastening and decorative strips of studded bleached denim. The spaghetti straps are also made from faux leather, studded with mini studs and cross over at the back to give maximum cleavage and support. It is roughly a UK size 8/10 but the full measurements are listed in the one offs and custom clothing category of my website.

I've been having such a hectic time lately, juggling sewing orders, making new things and doing a load of internet stuff for my website, I've barely had time to stop and do anything else, much in need of a day off I think :) But for now here are a couple of new tops from this week.

This first top is a one of a kind punk style studded denim vest top. It has a lace up front fastening which can be adjusted to fit and is decorated with studded strips of faux leather, star print and wet look, with a studded mini pocket on one side. The back features crossover faux black leather straps studded with silver pyramid studs. I think this is a first, as it's already sold. Dont think I've ever sold something before I even got a chance to write about it, but hey, wanted to show it off anyways!

This top is available handmade to fit many sizes! It's quite similar to one of my one of a kind tops that had a lot of positive feedback and also disappointed people who wanted it to be available in more sizes. Well this one I can make to fit up to a bust of 48 inches! Yes that's right, I even made it available to plus sizes too :) It's made from black wet look with a gathered bust and antique brass look studs. The main body is black spotty semi see through lace with black faux leather studded shapes on the front. The back is plain black wet look. Oh and the strap is halterneck to give a flattering shape to the chest ;)

The last pic is a close up shot of the top and me wearing my new leopard print hearts locket and hair pins from Glamasaurus Online Store.
