Sexy Gothic Zebra Lace Up Pencil Skirt!

Today I had a couple of orders to finish up and I also made a new skirt. I'm really loving the lace up sides pencil skirt that I made in my previous post so I thought I'd try out a few fabric/colour combos. This one is also a high waisted pencil skirt (although I guess it can be warn lower down if you like!) and is made from the very last pieces of pink zebra print lycra that I has left, overlayed with black paisley patterned lace. The skirt has daringly bare sides with large size eyelets and black ribbon lace ups. The elasticated waistband and the bottom hem are made from really comfortable and stretchy black spandex lycra. This along with the adjustable lace up sides means this skirt can be warn by lots of sizes, starting from a uk 8 and up to around a 12/14. The measurements are:

*WAISTBAND 27" up to 32" *HIPS 33" up to 39"

New Gothic Lace Collar Dress

New Dress! I actually made this for myself as I had a girly party to go but had nothing particularly fancy or girly to wear. I based it around my similar lace top with a collar which I quite like, but made it as a dress and with more lace!

Its a gothic summer dress made from black stretchy cotton fabric with low cut front and back, which are filled with black stretch floral lace. The dress has matching gathered black lace sleeves with elastic, a black cotton high turtle neck collar and gathered black lace around the bottom hem of the dress.

Couple of Custom Skirts :)

I had a couple of custom orders this week which I really enjoyed making and wanted to show off. The first was a take on my green spiderweb lace skirt featuring a black waistband with a rah rah style lower half with 3 layers of fabric; black cotton, green cotton and black gothic web lace on the top with matching green lace up bits on the waistband. The customer wanted the same style skirt but with a slightly shorter waistband and longer lower half and with cerise pink instead of green.

The second skirt she wanted was a take on my black and white music print skirt which normally has a black waistband with lower tiers of black cotton and black and white music print cotton with a matching lace up corset style decoration on the waist. However the customer wanted the same style skirt without the lace up panel and again with a shorter waistband and longer lower half.

New Artsy Summery Leggings!

I found this fabric today and couldn't resist making some sweet leggings from it. I know it's getting hot for leggings, but these are actually ideal for summer as they are made from a light weight cotton, with lots of stretch and comfort. The print is a multicoloured floral design on a white background featuring leaves, flowers, fish, owls, clocks and text as well as fine sketch style printed black designs. They are full length cotton leggings and will be available in my shop, custom hand made to fit any size up to a hip of 52", all for the same price of £17.99.

Here's another dress that I recently rediscovered while rummaging through my stock cupboard. It's a dress that I no longer make, so the original is up on sale. It's a light summery dress in black and white stripe stretchy cotton, with elastic halter neck strap and elastic waistband with gathered lower half. Another new pair of high waisted Hot Pants to shw off today. They are made from thick jersey knit fabric in black and creamy/off-white coloured vertical stripe zebra print fabric. They have super short legs and a high waistband that sits mid waist to flatter the figure.

I also made another pair of pink zebra print high waisted hot pants in the same zebra print as the pink zebra bikini in my last post, with elasticated high waist and sexy figure hugging shape. They are made from pink and black stretchy swimwear lycra, so they could be used as bikini bottoms as well!

I made a new bikini top yesterday, about time too as I havent updated my bikini tops page of my website in years. But even better, I actually braved making matching bikini bottoms to go with!

The bikini top is a halter neck in pink and black zebra print with black elastic and adjustable tie up back. The bikini bottoms are made from matching pink zebra print with panels of black at the front with decorative ruching.

New Black Slashes Mini Dress

Another new summer-y dress I recently made-It's quite simple but pretty damn sexy if I do say so myself! It's basically a punky vest top dress with gothic slashes down the back which knot up to create a cool effect on the back, revealing the back without revealing too much! I think this will be perfect for summer as it's simple, sexy and comfortable and the open back will keep you cool! I've always been a bit self conscious about wear short skirts or dresses in case they ride up and make me look like a tramp, so I added double thickness of cotton around the bottom of the dress that pulls it in a bit and keeps the dress from riding up.
I wasn't sure what to do on the front of the dress, but eventually ended up doing a simple little matching bit on the bust with a couple of knotted slashes just to tie it in with the theme of the back.

New Zebra Print Strapless Summer Dress

I've been making a few new things this week, they are a little different from my usual style, slightly more feminine and pretty summery I think!

The first is a cute strapless summer dress made with stretchy black cotton and panels of black and white swirly zebra print meshy lace down each side. The lace is a little see through, just enough to be sexy without being too trashy! I added elastic to the boob tube bust to ensure that it will stay up comfortably and thick cotton at the bottom to ensure the dress doesn't ride up. Two annoying tendencies of this type of dress that usually prevent me from feeling comfortable enough to wear them out....problem solved and I will definitely be wearing this one out this summer, it's so comfy!
