Sexy Gothic Zebra Lace Up Pencil Skirt!

Today I had a couple of orders to finish up and I also made a new skirt. I'm really loving the lace up sides pencil skirt that I made in my previous post so I thought I'd try out a few fabric/colour combos. This one is also a high waisted pencil skirt (although I guess it can be warn lower down if you like!) and is made from the very last pieces of pink zebra print lycra that I has left, overlayed with black paisley patterned lace. The skirt has daringly bare sides with large size eyelets and black ribbon lace ups. The elasticated waistband and the bottom hem are made from really comfortable and stretchy black spandex lycra. This along with the adjustable lace up sides means this skirt can be warn by lots of sizes, starting from a uk 8 and up to around a 12/14. The measurements are:

*WAISTBAND 27" up to 32" *HIPS 33" up to 39"

I'm still trying to use up some of my older fabric before I invest in some exciting new stuff. I have so many different fabrics but not enough of any of them to make something whole, so I'm just mixing and matching different pieces and seeing what I come up with. So here's a super sexy, figure hugging pencil skirt I made this morning! It's high waisted and made from black semi wet look lycra with red pot hole fishnet panels down each side. The panels are studded with large silver eyelets, which lace up with black ribbon and tie into bows at the knee. The elasticated waistband and bottom hem of the skirt are made from hi shine, glossy black wet look lycra. The skirt fits a uk size 8/10 with the below measurements...

*WAISTBAND 26"-31", *HIPS 32"-36"

Also after finally finding some similar fabric I've been able to update the zebra print leggings in my shop with a new and improved version, after the original fabric went out of stock months and months ago. These are actually the most comfortable leggings I've ever worn, they are made from a light, silky soft zebra print stretch, ideal for warmer weather. They're so stretchy and comfy that it barely feels like you're wearing them.

Ahh it's been such a busy couple of weeks, but I'm finally on top of orders and today I even had time to make a new pair of one off unique leggings. I have a ton of fabric that I need to get rid of before I move house so it's a great excuse for me to put some fabric scraps to use and make something new from them.

I love this pair of leggings. They are emo/scene sort of style patchwork leggings with purple and black leopard print cotton and black mesh in alternating panels.

They are a uk size 8/10 fitting the below measurements:

New & Improved Zebra Print Corset Dress

MORE NEW! Next is a new and improved version of my old black and white zebra print corset dress. The skirt part of the dress is has two tiers of zebra print and black lace, gathered to create a tutu style. The upper part of the dress is made from zebra print with panels of black cotton overlaid with matching black lace. The dress has a central zipper fastening on the front, with metal silver D rings forming a lace up panel which ties into a big bow falling over the skirt of the dress. The dress has a matching black cotton and lace halter neck strap and sexy low back line.

New Pair Patchwork Leggings:Pink Zebra & Polka Dots!

Since all of my one off unique pairs of patchwork punk style leggings have gone, I've started making some more to use up some scraps. Here's the first pair. They are made from alternate panels of black and hot pink zebra print, black and white polka dot and plain black cotton with a stretchy elastic waistband.

They will fit a UK size 10/12 with the following measurements:

WAISTBAND: 29" up to 33" HIPS: 35" up to 38"

A little while ago I had an order for some pink zebra print leggings and for some reason the customers payment failed to clear and when I tried to contact them about payment they never responded. I made a new bikini top yesterday, about time too as I havent updated my bikini tops page of my website in years. But even better, I actually braved making matching bikini bottoms to go with!

The bikini top is a halter neck in pink and black zebra print with black elastic and adjustable tie up back. The bikini bottoms are made from matching pink zebra print with panels of black at the front with decorative ruching.

New Zebra Print Shrug!

Here's some more of what I've been making....

As I had loads of the zebra lace fabric left from the dress I made, I decided to make a cute matching shrug jacket. It's the same semi transparent mesh lace stuff, it's really soft and stretchy. Instead of buttoning or zipping up the two sides tie up in a knot at the thinnest part of the waist to accentuate curves and I added some elastic around the waist so it really holds the thin part of the waist in nice and comfortably. I love this style of jacket, it's perfect for the coming summer as it's thin enough to keep you cool but enough fabric to give the arms a bit of warmth and cool print adds a bit of excitement to an outfit :)

New Zebra Print Strapless Summer Dress

I've been making a few new things this week, they are a little different from my usual style, slightly more feminine and pretty summery I think!

The first is a cute strapless summer dress made with stretchy black cotton and panels of black and white swirly zebra print meshy lace down each side. The lace is a little see through, just enough to be sexy without being too trashy! I added elastic to the boob tube bust to ensure that it will stay up comfortably and thick cotton at the bottom to ensure the dress doesn't ride up. Two annoying tendencies of this type of dress that usually prevent me from feeling comfortable enough to wear them out....problem solved and I will definitely be wearing this one out this summer, it's so comfy!

2 New Pairs Of Patchwork Leggings SIZE 10/12/14

I had an epic day of sewing new things today. I made 2 new pairs of patchwork leggings, 2 new pencil skirts and a dress. I managed to find time to photograph the leggings today and hopefully will get time to do the others tomorrow.

Both leggings are one off items, available in size 10/12/14 as they are super stretchy and will fit a large range of sizes.

The waistband will fit a measurement of 31" up to 35" and the leggings will fit a hip measurement of 36" up to 40".

The first pair are made up from black and off white zebra print jersey, black and white star print cotton and plain black cotton. The back and front are different so you can wear them whichever way round you prefer. Get two different looks out of one pair of leggings! I photographed them both ways round..

The second pair are made up of purple cotton overlayed with sparkly black mesh, black and white star print cotton and plain black cotton. And again these can be worn two different ways as the front design differs to the back.
