New new new!

Lots more new stuff to show off, mainly because I've gotten so behind with this! Firstly I decided to make an updated version of one of my old dresses which I was no longer happy with. It's a gothic corset dress made with a fitted body in black satin, with halter neck strap, zip up front fastening and metal D rings which form a lace up panel on the front and lace trim on the bust. The back features another corset style lace up panel with large silver eyelets and black ribbon. The tutu style skirt is made with black satin and tiers of gothic black tulle beneath and another shorter tier of tulle on top. It is available in regular and plus size, custom made to fit your own measurements from the corset dresses section of my website.

Next is a new corset top similar to the red satin burlesque corset top in my earlier post. It's a fitted top made with purple satin overlayed with black floral lace, with a halter neck strap, zipper fastening that opens right out and a black ribbon lace up panel at the front. The bust and lower waist of the top are finished with black lace trim. This corset top will be made to fit regular or plus size and can be viewed on the corset tops part of my site.

Next is a new pair of gothic/rock style studded leggings which I'm quite in love with. They are made from black glossy wet look lycra with snug fitting plain black back and cut away panels on the front which are filled with black semi see through lace and decorated with black strips of faux leather which is studded with large silver pyramid studs.

And lastly I found this awesome textured denim fabric which I've become quite obsessed with. I decided to make a new special one of a kind top, as most of the ones I had listed on my website have sold. It's made with alternate panels of textured denim and black denim, semi stretch for a snug but comfortable fit, with individually cut black faux leather swirls and spike shapes on front and back in a symmetrical pattern and studded with silver eyelets. The top fastens with a zipper at the back and opens right out and there is a faux leather halter neck strap, decorated with more silver eyelets. The top will fit roughly a UK size 8/10 but the full measurements can be seen in the one offs and custom clothing page.

New One Of a Kind Top plus Skulls Leggings!

I was bored yesterday and decided to treat myself to making a new one of a kind piece of clothing, which is always the thing I find most exciting and enjoyable to do. It's a studded bustier style top in red tartan and black and red cherries print in alternating panels. The front features black faux leather straps studded with silver pyramid studs and an adjustable lace up fastening with large silver eyelets. The back has more faux leather studded straps that cross over and the halter neck strap has a large silver buckle fastening that can be adjusted to fit.

It is a UK size 10/12 and the full measurements and details are listed on my website under the one offs and custom clothing area of my site.

New pair of leggings! I wasn't sure whether these would be a one of a kind pair or a regular item for all sizes, but after getting such a good response on facebook, decided to make them available made to fit, for regular and plus size. They are made from black cotton lycra with slanted panels of black and white skull and crossbones print and polka dot print on the front. As they are made from cotton they are super soft and comfy to wear. They are available to buy from the tights and legging section of my website.

I'm wondering what people prefer: something completely unique and individual to them that no one else has OR to have their choice of alternative clothing made especially to fit them but is a repeated design? What do you prefer?! This week I made a couple new pairs of leggings. One is a custom one of a kind pair of leggings and the other is a repeated design available in regular and plus size.

The custom pair are made from black leather look lycra with patchwork panels of denim studded with antique look rust coloured studs, star print and black wet look lycra. They are a UK size 8/10.

Now these leggings are available custom made to fit any size up to a hip of 44 inches. They too are made from black leather look and feature sexy black lace side panels, which lace up with black ribbon and tie into bows at the calf.

While I love making unique one of a kind pairs of leggings as they are special and individual to the person that takes them home, I also love being able to custom make my leggings to fit, so that the customer knows they will have a good fitting pair even if they are between sizes and especially for plus size ladies who struggle to find any unique and fun pairs of leggings that are available in plus sizes.

I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on this, would you rather something no one else has? Or something that is made especially with your shape and size in mind, but isn't a unique design?

Sexy Gothic Zebra Lace Up Pencil Skirt!

Today I had a couple of orders to finish up and I also made a new skirt. I'm really loving the lace up sides pencil skirt that I made in my previous post so I thought I'd try out a few fabric/colour combos. This one is also a high waisted pencil skirt (although I guess it can be warn lower down if you like!) and is made from the very last pieces of pink zebra print lycra that I has left, overlayed with black paisley patterned lace. The skirt has daringly bare sides with large size eyelets and black ribbon lace ups. The elasticated waistband and the bottom hem are made from really comfortable and stretchy black spandex lycra. This along with the adjustable lace up sides means this skirt can be warn by lots of sizes, starting from a uk 8 and up to around a 12/14. The measurements are:

I'm still trying to use up some of my older fabric before I invest in some exciting new stuff. I have so many different fabrics but not enough of any of them to make something whole, so I'm just mixing and matching different pieces and seeing what I come up with. So here's a super sexy, figure hugging pencil skirt I made this morning! It's high waisted and made from black semi wet look lycra with red pot hole fishnet panels down each side. The panels are studded with large silver eyelets, which lace up with black ribbon and tie into bows at the knee. The elasticated waistband and bottom hem of the skirt are made from hi shine, glossy black wet look lycra. The skirt fits a uk size 8/10 with the below measurements...

Also after finally finding some similar fabric I've been able to update the zebra print leggings in my shop with a new and improved version, after the original fabric went out of stock months and months ago. These are actually the most comfortable leggings I've ever worn, they are made from a light, silky soft zebra print stretch, ideal for warmer weather. They're so stretchy and comfy that it barely feels like you're wearing them.

Rock Chick One Of A Kind Stuff :)

So this week I've been doing a bit of scrap busting, in attempt to make room for new fabric. Alas it seems no matter how many scraps I use up, I barely make a dent in the mound of fabric pieces that is rapidly growing out of my storage cupboard and spilling across my whole studio....Well at least I tried!

These are one of a kind pieces of clothing, since the whole point is to use up fabric that I can no longer get hold of for regular items and is just sitting about doing nothing.

The first is a glam rock inspired studded zebra print top with lace up back. It is made from stretchy hot pink and black zebra print stretchy lycra fabric which is overlaid in the middle and at the back with glittery sparkle see through mesh and the front is decorated with black faux leather strips, studded with small round silver metal studs. The top has a stretchy zebra print halter neck strap and the back has a corset style lace up fastening with large silver metal eyelets. This can be adjusted to fit from a size 10 up to size 14, with the below measurements...

*BUST: 33"-38", *WAIST 26"-32", *LOW WAIST 28"-33"

The second is a super hot black see through mesh top with black hi shine wet look bust, which is gathered with silver pyramid studs in the middle. More black wet look spikey strips on the front and back, which are also studded with silver pyramid studs. The top has stretchy spaghetti straps which are studded at the front and which cross over at the back. This top is around a UK size 8/10 with the below measurements...

Couple of Custom Orders!!

I've had a fair few custom orders recently which has been fun and here are some of my favourites....plus most of the others I didnt manage to get a photo of!

The first customer was looking for a long black velvet gothic skirt which is tight fitting down to the knee with three tiers of ruffles fanning out as the skirt goes down. This took me much longer than I had anticipated but I did enjoy making it as its a bit different to my usual style and am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The next is a pair of patchwork leggings in black and white polka dot print jersey and plain black, with alternating panels on each side.

And lastly, this customer was looking for some wet look black studded leggings similar to the pair I sell on my website with large silver pyramid studs, however she wanted them to be more unique and with different types of studs and asymmetrical.

New & Unique Leggings (3 pairs!)

I'm getting behind with this blog! Here are a few new pairs of one of a kind leggings that I've made this week.

The first I made because a customer requested something fairly similar but I wanted to be sure I could do some in the same sort of style first so made these as a practice pair. She was looking for some glam rock inspired faux leather lace up trousers so I made these similar black leather look leggings with lace up sides using large silver eyelets with lots of small silver studs and star studs and round studs on the front. Anyway I was really pleased with how they turned out so I decided to list them on my website as a one off piece. They've already sold.

Next are a pair of patchwork leggings in leopard print soft velvety velour with alternate panels of black lace and black cotton with plain leopard body of the leggings and leopard at the ankles. These are another one off pair and will fit UK sizes 8/10/12 with the below measurements.

*WAISTBAND: 29.5"-33"

HIPS: 33.5"-37"

Lastly another pair of patchwork rocker chick leggings made from random panels of grey and black tiger print, see through sparkly, glittery mesh, star print and black cotton. These fabrics are all quite light and good for summer. They will fit UK size 8/10/12 with the below measurements.

New one of a kind top! A black faux leather lace up vest top with small round silver studs on the bust and largely adjustable lace up front fastening with large silver eyelets and black ribbon. The back features another lace up panel which can also be used to adjust size a little with silver star shaped studs.

New Strapless Denim Mini Rocker Dress

MORE NEW! This has to be one of my favourite dress I've made, it's a strapless denim mini dress with alternate panels of dark and light denim, front zipper fastening with decorative strips of black leatherette down each side of the zip and cute mini pockets on each side of the bust with silver popper fastening. The bust of the dress is elasticated and the sides of the dress are decorated with lace up panels that stretch the full length of the dress, starting at the top of the back of the dress and curving uniquely around the sides, finishing at the bottom of the front. I came up with this dress because I had a couple of requests for my denim biker chick style tops to be as dresses, so this is what I came up with. Strapless Denim Rocker Dress...

Sneak Preview of New Lace up Studded Bustier

I finished another new top yesterday, haven't got round to taking any photos yet and probably wont have time until next week so I decided to take a quick "myspace photo" because I cant wait to show it off! It's a lace up bustier top made from black leatherette and has 3 brown leatherette straps on each side that continue round the back. The front straps are decorated with lots of studs and the front has an adjustable lace up fastening with large size silver metal eyelets and black ribbon. The top has double straps in brown leatherette which crossover at the back.
