Lace up Leggings & Custom Wednesday 13 Leggings!

I cant seem to stop making leggings lately! Today I made some new super glam rock style lace up leggings in pink sparkly leopard print (can't stop using this fabric-I love it!) with black fishnet side panels and overlapping black ribbon lace up detail which tie into bows at the bottom. The waistband is made from black leather look lycra and there are matching black cuffs on the ankles. These are available customer handmade to fit up to a hip size of 44 inches. The fabric wont be around for very long however so these are a limited edition, while fabric stocks last!

Also this week I got a rather exciting custom order for some Wednesday 13 studded leggings made from a band t shirt she sent me. They are an asymmetrical design with the t shirt graphics on each thigh, panels of silver glittery star print lycra and panels of faux leather decorated with round silver studs and pyramid studs, all overlaied onto sexy black spandex lycra. I love these!

New Dress Tops

I made a couple new dress tops this week. Been a while since I had time to make anything new! One will be a regular item for regular and plus size and the other is just a one off. The first is a black cotton hooded dress top with panels of pink glitter sparkle leopard print on the bust and back and a leopard print pocket on the front. The hood is also made with pink leopard print and is lined with black cotton, as well as matching pink cuffs on the sleeves. Super comfy and the panels on the front and back give it a bit more warmth than just wearing a normal top. It’s now available for sale from the long sleeved dresses section of my website.

The other top I made was intended to be a regular item but it took me so long I don’t think I can afford to list this as a regular item for a reasonable price, due to the time involved, so I figured I’d just sell it as a one off. It’s a hooded dress top made with black and purple soft cotton lycra, with alternating panels of colour in stripes. The panels are overlayed onto the black base, giving it extra warmth and thickness. The front features a black and white star print pocket, star print hood lined with black cotton and matching star print bottom hem. It’s available in roughly a UK size 8/10 and the exact measurements are listed on my website under the one offs and custom clothing section.

I seem to have disappeared off the radar these past few weeks, things have gotten so busy I've been shackled to my machines constantly, hence my lack of bothering to post anything on here :( Anyway-catch up time, here are a few of my latest designs....

Rainbow Stripe Tutu Dress

This dress is made from multicoloured striped cotton with a fitted body featuring zipper front fastening and big decorative black bow and lace trim on the bust. The tutu part is made up of two tiers of stripe cotton and black lace. I love this dress! It may be a bit bright for some people's tastes, but I've always had a thing for rainbow coloured stuff! It makes me think of sweets and makes my eyes feel happy.

It's available custom made especially to fit for regular and plus size from the corset dresses and tutu dresses section of my website.

Punk Studded Tartan/Wet Look Leggings

These punk style leggings are one of kind and made from black glossy wet look lycra with panels of red tartan print and black studded faux leather. They are a UK size 8/10 and available to buy from the one of a kind clothing section of my site.

Leopard Print Lace Up Pencil Skirt

Lastly another lace up pencil skirt-I just love making these, I think they are super sexy! It's made from black wet look lycra with leopard print velour down the sides and black ribbon lace ups on top. It's available in regular and plus size and you can find it under pencil skirts!

New Custom Colour Lace Up Top!

I've just listed a new top and it's available in regular and plus size. Not only that but you can also pick your own colour! The one I made is black and purple, but I can also make it with silver, blue or pink instead of purple.

The bust is made from black wet look, with silver studded faux black leather middle piece and a stretchy black halter neck strap for a comfy fit. The main part of the top is made with shimmery metallic overlaid with cute black polka dot lace. The bottom hem is also made from stretchy wet look black lycra and running down each side are faux leather strips with silver eyelets and black ribbon lace up detail.

Sparkle Slashes Dress Top...

First Attempt At Leatherette Punk/Goth Wrist Wear!!

So this week I was thinking I really need to stock up on some of the little gothic and punk accessories that I stock to go along side my custom hand made clothing, when it dawned on me that I could just make some myself. I've always been much more excited about designing clothing than accessories, but I suddenly got the urge so thought I'd give it a try. Here's what I've come up with so far. They will all be one off pieces rather than items I will keep re-making, so once they're gone, they're gone! The first is a punk style wrist strap made from black leatherette and decorated with silver conical punk studs and silver metal eyelets. The strap has a silver popper fastening with two adjustable size fittings. This was my very first attempt so I'm selling it for cheaper than I'd like to.

The next is a gothic, punk style wrist band in black leatherette, decorated with silver metal D-rings and has a largely adjustable silver buckle fastening with 5 different size settings.

New Stuff in Progress!

This week I'm working on yet more new things! In progress I have a cute denim mini dress with lace up sides, basically a dress version of my lace up denim biker chick vest tops. Plus a super hot wet look slashes dress and I'm in the process of updating some of my really old dresses to make them better. So far I've only started work on one of these which is zebra print, but there will be plenty more to come. And hopefully soon!

Sneak Preview of New Lace up Studded Bustier

I finished another new top yesterday, haven't got round to taking any photos yet and probably wont have time until next week so I decided to take a quick "myspace photo" because I cant wait to show it off! It's a lace up bustier top made from black leatherette and has 3 brown leatherette straps on each side that continue round the back. The front straps are decorated with lots of studs and the front has an adjustable lace up fastening with large size silver metal eyelets and black ribbon. The top has double straps in brown leatherette which crossover at the back.

New Denim/Leatherette Tubey Top

Another new item to show today, this has to be one of my favourite tops I've made so far. A glam rock, bondage style studded crop top made from alternate panels of black faux leather and denim. Black leatherette straps cross over at the front and back, decorated with silver eyelets and the front features silver studded black bondage straps that cross the bust and fasten with silver metal poppers. There is a zipper fastening at the back.
I've decided to try and steer my style towards a more glam rock, metal rocker chick style and to start making much more exciting clothing featuring lots of metal studs, D rings, eyelets, buckles, straps and the like. In an ideal world I'd love to make one off items that are incredibly detailed and exciting to look at, really unique one-off pieces. However since these things take much longer to make and cost a lot more to make, that would have to be reflected in higher prices. Which is a problem because my target market is fairly young and young people dont often want to spend a lot of money on one piece of clothing. I guess that's a kind of long term goal for me, but for now I'm just going to list these things on my website in a special section for women looking for this very specific style. To be honest I've always wanted alternative clothing in this sort of glam rock, biker chick, tough girl style and have never found anywhere else that sells them, in this country at least. And before I ever started making clothes or got good enough to make this style, if I had come across some of my tops back then online, I would have been willing to pay well just to get this unique hard to find style, so maybe others will too. Here's hoping :)

High Waisted Wet Look Hot Pants

I have lots more new things to show off this week :) I haven't finished all the photographs yet, but here's what I've done so far...another pair of pair of hot pants! High waisted wet look hot pants, in super sexy black wet look lycra fabric which is skin tight and fits like a glove, but is actually pretty comfortable, with elasticated high waistband. I also discovered that the black wet look goes quite well with my pvc bikini top, so they could actually be worn as a set, hence why I photographed them together :)

A little while ago I had an order for some pink zebra print leggings and for some reason the customers payment failed to clear and when I tried to contact them about payment they never responded. I made a new bikini top yesterday, about time too as I havent updated my bikini tops page of my website in years. But even better, I actually braved making matching bikini bottoms to go with!
